Bruce Wong is a fourth generation American-born Chinese raised in San Francisco. He worked professionally for ten years at Xerox Corporation as a technical specialist before attending Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon, and graduating with a Masters of Divinity in 1992. He served in his home church in San Francisco and in a church plant in Millbrae before the Lord led him to CCIC in 2011. He oversees worship services and gives special attention to the preaching and teaching ministries, counseling, and administration. He and his wife Lisa have been married since 1976 and have twin daughters (Katie and Sara), a son-in-law (Ken), two grandchildren (Mitchell and Joshua), and, though he loves dogs, neither has any nor wants any. He enjoys taking walks and doing Sudoku (though not at the same time) and all things chocolate (even if they are not good for him). One of his ongoing challenges is to keep his work area neat.
