Welcome to CCIC-SJ's English ministry! Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in CCIC-SJ.

We invite you to join our spiritual family at CCIC, where we seek to grow closer to God through Biblical teaching, prayer, and fellowship, all springing out of Christian love and grace.

Our service time is
Sunday 9:15AM - 10:30AM
in Sanctuary A (2nd floor)
We have reserved parking at the church for guests and those with young children or disabilities. If the church parking lot is full, please park at the Union Bank lot (next to the church) or at the Pinn Brothers's parking lot across the street. Our Conditional Use Permit and other agreements prohibit us from parking in front of the Union Bank, on Atherton Ave or in the neighborhood behind the church, and in the Westgate Shopping Center.

Class A: Why Do You Believe That by Mary Jo Sharp (College Study)

Teacher: Bruce Wong
Room: Conference Room

I. Synopsis and purpose

In His Great Commission, Jesus told us to make, baptize and teach disciples. The most challenging part of that command is the first step: making disciples. Let’s face it: we are afraid to share our faith, we don’t know what to say, how to answer those “tough questions,” or how to deal with people who object or oppose us. This class, based on material by Mary Jo Sharp, will help us to have faith conversations with those around us. We will learn and grow through methods including video, presentations, discussion, and role playing.

Class B: Ecclesiastes

Teachers: Jimmy Lee, David Yu, Patric Chang

I. Synopsis and purpose

Ecclesiastes offers a unique perspective on human life - a perspective that is extremely relevant for the church today. It unmasks the myth of human autonomy and self-sufficiency. It strips away the false hopes to find satisfaction apart from God in knowledge, wealth, pleasure, work, fame, and sex. Ecclesiastes drives us toward God, the only hope of eternal meaning and life.

In this second quarter of the two quarters class, we'll continue to study the book of Ecclesiastes in depth and learn the wisdom of living - "Fear God in order to turn a vain, empty life into a meaningful life which will enjoy God's gifts".
